Fluid Running is a game changer for runners. Mimicking land running form in the deep end, Fluid Running is the most sport specific workout to maintain your running fitness, even while injured. The time spent running in the pool equals time running on land, but without the impact! The resistance of the water while running gets your heart rate high and keeps your legs strong. Fluid Running has allowed thousands of people to continue to workout even with many kinds of injuries and pain, from back and neck pain, to injured hips, knees, bones and tendons. Workouts done in the deep water are 100% non-weight bearing so there is zero negative impact on the body. Workouts done in the shallow water are very low impact and great for those transitioning to weight bearing protocol. Beyond the ability to get a great strength and cardio workout, the hydrostatic pressure of the deep water increases the circulation in your body, often speeding up healing time.
